The call recording feature frequently interupts my phone calls and I have never, and likely will never, have a use for such a feature.
I suggest an option where the button can be removed from the call screen, or the feature altogether disabled. In the very least, make it so the button does not accidently get pressed when someone is in the middle of a phonecall.
It is literally (and I mean literally in the truest since) the most annoying thing I've had to deal with on any smart phone I've ever used and I honestly don't believe it was tested before it was released. It hinders the main purpose of a phone (a phonecall) by disrupting the call and in a heated conversation just adds fuel to the fire.
@Members_XDLam3x I'm not sure what you are looking at, but currently there is no way to remove the call recording button from an active call.
You can delete the recordings that you have made. You can turn off the option to transcribe recorded calls. But you can't turn off the ability to record calls during a call.
That's the issue. It needs to be adjustable. It's an annoying and useless feature that just gets in the way of the actual function of a phone. I shouldn't have to pause a conversation just to turn off call recording because my cheek accidentally activated it.
Yes! I've had people get upset bc they can also hear when it begins recording and assume that it decided to record them for some reason. It's super frustrating bc i hit that button numerous times a day sometimes.
One recommendation by @Robin321k for those who have a problem with this handy feature is to download Phone By Google from the Play Store and make that your default dialer.
I, and @Robin321k, have not once since owning our phones, accidentally activated the call record button.
I strongly agree. It's annoying and it's so easy to turn on without you and the other person knowing. They think you are recoding them for some reason please remove it. Thanks
