Can't remove background image filter from WhatsApp and Teams

Hi,

On my phone i turned on a background image filter on WhatsApp. I now cannot turn it off. It only shows on selfies, but shows on both WhatsApp and Teams calls. It does not show on the normal camera. 

I can add other background images, other filters, and can turn those off. But this original filter still applies.

I have tired uninstalling WhatsApp and then reinstalling. But the issue remains.

Any help would be appreciated.

When you are taking a selfie in WhatsApp, swipe down the notification panel and there should be a notification that says "video effects is running in background" click on this and then select "background" and change it too "none"
