Cannot add phone data to my phone

I am setting up new Samsung S24 when I try to import my data it does appear as a option. The data shows in my backups when I am on my computer.

Oh you have a me problem! One is your phone model and one is a name?? Call them. And write tons of stuff in the memembers errors. Get it in writing

You don't mention how this is failing.... Are you seeing error messages?  Are you sure that the Galaxy S8+ backup has whatever phone data you are looking for? 

What "Phone Data" do you mean?  Call logs?  Contacts?

You are not doing the setup correctly. Reset your phone again and choose the option transfer my data from old cell to new cell. You cannot use the option restore data. That is meant to recover data. Not transfer data.
