Galaxy S24 Users Report Battery Drain Issues

Hello Community Members. We understand the frustrations caused by the battery drain on your phones and have found a solution.  This is occurring on T-Mobile phones because of the mobile services app.  In order to remove the application, first open Settings, then open Apps, press the filter and sort icon to the right of Apps. Then turn on Show System Apps and search Mobile Services. Select the three dots to the right of mobile services, and then select Uninstall updates. You will need to select OK. After you have selected OK make sure to check the version it should be downgraded.  

This will get you back up and running. If not, donโ€™t hesitate to reach out to us once again!  Thank you for being a Samsung customer.

The new update ruined my phone! The battery drains in less than 3 hours. It takes more than 5 to fully charge now. The phone is impossible to use now because opening an app drains for 3 mins drains it by 20%.

Update: I've had helped from a Samsung representative yesterday with troubleshooting and my phone issues seems to be resolved as of now. Everything is working properly ๐Ÿ˜Š

Samsung representative had me doing a good bit of troubleshooting steps like force rebooting, put the battery performance on light instead of standard, adjust the adaptive brightness to lower settings, optimize battery performance, and update all of your apps.

I'm experiencing the same issues. Lucky for me, I have an IPhone 17 pro ready to activate. This is beyond ridiculous.

Wifi issues for me as well. Keeps dropping wifi and keeps connecting to wifi 6 even though wifi 6 is disabled on my router. I dont think SamsDung has a clue what they're doing when it comes to  wifi. Great work SamDUNG.

I haven't updated my phone yet, but just want to know if everyone is experiencing battery drain and overheating issues after the April software update, or if it's only certain models. I have s24 plus

Dont update!! I have it and its horrible I also have the s24 plus and its been overheating bad and theres no fast charging like it will say it is but it takes forever to charge and the knox app keeps running and draining battery and its a system app so you cant even uninstall or block the usage on it. Im literally 1 payment from paying off this phone and this happen Im so mad ๐Ÿ˜ญ and Its unfair to even think about taking my phone to a repair shop and get charge for something that samsung did

How long did it take for your phone to start overheating and lose battery and I didn't have a choice it would have updated tonight anyways.
