I wish that Samsung would allow you to put a timer on your hotspot. The same way you can put a timer duration on mute. Please....

Galaxy S24The hotspot times out after a period of time you set of non use. I believe the default is 10 minutes with no connection.

Galaxy S24Go to settings, connections, mobile hotspot. Click on the network name and scroll down to "advanced" and expand. You will see the control to turn off "when no device is connected for (x)" and then your choices range from never to 5, 10, 20, 30 or 60 minutes. If you want it to time out even when there are devices connected, you will have to create a routine. @LongHiker has the start of the routine, but it's not enough to just set a timer, you also have to add the end action, so your routine should look like this:
