Look, I admit to being overly sensitive to change and especially to visual changes on my phone. I like how everything looks right now. So, I'm currently debating whether or not to update to One UI 8.5 after I noticed they'll be making visual changes.
So for anyone who has One UI 8.5, what sort of changes happened? Are you able to adjust them to look the way they did before? I've heard some people say that the update ruined the Gallery app and I'm kinda worried about that. I'm not looking for any fully positive or fully negative lists in the comments and I'd appreciate if you guys wrote out some pros and cons.
Also, is it possible to just not update? I know my previous phone worked pretty well for nearly four years after I stopped updating it. Thank you for anyone who answers!
Yeah a lot of changes but it will still be tour device like you know. You can in you want improve with a lot of new features if you want Update is not just for fun. It makes all work smoother and you can get the last security updates. If you don't really care about your privacy and adapt your security with the network growth, its ok. I think when you device will requre an update you'll be asking to do that. Hope to you to do or not.
It does not matter whether you are "debating" whether to update to 8.5. If your phone is eligible, you will be getting it regardless. Updates are mandatory. Most of the visual changes you can change back to your preferences. Not all phones get the same visual changes because ... reasons. If you are already using Good Lock and any of its modules, you will find it easy enough to make those changes. If you are not already using it, download it from the Galaxy store along with the Home up, LockStar and Theme Park modules (to start) and learn how to navigate through them. Good Lock is Samsung's official suite of customization apps. If you already have a theme set on your phone, you should notice very little change in appearance.
In general not a huge change main things you will notice us the settings page has been changed more streamlined the device care and battery folder have new look
