The secure folder doesn't suffice. I liked having the ability to switch between my work and gaming accounts. Some apps don't support multi-user features or its just time hassling to switch back and forth.
So being able to be signed into my gaming Discord, Facebook, Gmail, and YouTube on one account then switch to my work Discord, Facebook, Gmail, and YouTube account was a huge benefit on my phone. Just click the user account profile, punch in my different pin and good to go. But now the feature no longer exists in OneUI6 update and this is a pain to work with.
They seem to have converted this feature to more being per app than like how a PC is setup with each profile having their own entirely different setup. For instance, Chrome makes it to where you can switch Google accounts with just 2 to 3 taps of the screen, Discord as well now. If it is the same as for a PC as it is a phone, it would need to keep those apps with dual accounts as 2 separate apps in the hard drive memory taking up A LOT of much needed space on your phone. Even if you have a micro SD slot, it isn't a wise choice to be using that space to put entire apps on it as the data transfer can degrade the functionality of the app over time. SD memory is best used for static files that aren't executing programs and basically readable data i.e. pictures, songs, media files, etc.
Space isn't an issue for me. On PC, I have one account for work and one for gaming/personal, and this helps keep apps and files much more organized. Same as Google Chrome and its startups.
It's a huge improvement and works vastly faster than having to stay signed in per app and have to keep switching back and forth. And in the worst case, forget you forgot tovswitch on one of the apps, and post from the wrong account. So having to be constantly aware to switch vs just switching to an entirely different Samsung account while on the move with a simple pin is a huge benefit for workflow
