Galaxy S24The password, if it's asking for one is the same one you use to unlock your phone. Many security settings require you to enter your password or use your fingerprint to change. This is for your protection, so that no one but you can change your security settings. If you use a PIN to unlock your phone normally, set a password or a fingerprint as well before attempting to turn off the auto blocker. This way, you have multiple ways to unlock your phone, should one fail.

Galaxy S24Make sure you tap on the space where the entry is supposed to go before trying to type a password.
If you go to security and privacy settings and select screen lock and biometrics, you should be able to set a fingerprint or password. The security flag that comes up should ask for your PIN, if you have only set a PIN (I don't use a PIN, so I am not sure about this). Enter your PIN and you should be able to set a password and a biometric. If it does not allow you to do this, then the only way would be to make sure you have a current backup of your personal data, and factory reset your phone, which will erase all security from your phone, so you can set it up again. After your reset, log into the same Samsung and Google accounts you are currently logged into and then restore your backup. After restoring your backup, set your security credentials. I recommend setting at least two ways to unlock your phone. Easiest is to set a PIN and fingerprint or PIN and password. You can use any combination of PIN, password and fingerprint. In most cases changing security settings can be accomplished with just your fingerprint or password/PIN.
