Galaxy S24The car doesn't recognize all your contacts? Does the phone recognize them all?
What year is your car? Your head unit software may need an update of its own to accommodate the new update. I had the March update. I have a 2017 car. I have had no problems with either my car's Bluetooth recognition of my phone and its contents or Android Auto connectivity. I understand you and other people are having issues and it's frustrating. But if all your contacts are still recognized by your phone and you are working out of your car, you can just put the phone on speaker and have Google Assistant or Bixby dial your calls hands free.
Have you tried unpairing the phone from your car and removing it from the database and then going through the process again? If the contacts exist on your phone, they should all get downloaded to the car when paired.

Galaxy S24It's still broken. I've done everything. I just uninstalled all updates and blocked auto updates and I'm going to see how that works.

Galaxy S24Hello @Ostry, Thank you for reaching out to the Community. We can understand how frustrating this issue is for you.
You can try unpairing and deleting the phone from the car’s Bluetooth list. Also forget the car from the phone's Bluetooth settings, then restart the phone and pair again. You can also try clearing the Android Auto Cache by going to settings, apps, Android Auto, Storage, then Clear Cache and Data. I hope that this information was able to clear up the issue. Please feel free to let us know if it helped.

I've done ALL of this, new cords, delete cache, restart car head unit, delete data, uninstall updates, reinstall I've done EVERY troubleshooting that's available turned off privacy. Since March android auto is completely unusable. My son has same problem in his car as well. I'm corded he's wireless. It's useless and something needs to get fixed NOW!

Galaxy S24Have you actually put in an error report? Nothing gets fixed without an actual error report to the developers.

Galaxy S24I have verified it is my phone. I perched a second Android Auto device and it does the same thing. I connect via Bluetooth and it randomly reboots every 3 to 8 minuets.
