Screen Timeout Feature Request

You really need to add back the feature for the screen to NEVER time out! 

Not just 10 minutes max.

I don't see that happening, but if you install Good Lock + Display Assistant, you can increase it to 30 minutes.

I'm not going to install anything for that simple feature. Don't even make no sense why they took it away. Probably just so people would select the facial thing so they can spy on all our pretty faces. 😅

Yes, I'm sure that's exactly why it was removed. Couldn't possibly have been to protect AMOLED screens from burn-in.

That would take a decent amount of time. And why would they care about protecting from screen burn-in. Money in their pocket. It's my phone if I want my screen to stay on for a half hour to an hour then I should have that option from basic settings.

Then complain by sending feedback. To submit a feature request, use the "send feedback" option on the Support tab of the Members app. Use the "others" category and tag the submission as "feature request."

They gave you the option by providing Good Lock and its modules.  Good Lock is an official Samsung suite of modules for the sole purpose of customizing your device.  It's modular because different users want different customization options and rather than bloat the UI with every option possible, they allow people to choose the modules they want.  It also makes updating the features easier on the fly, since they don't have to retool the whole operating system.   It's not their fault you don't want to use it for whatever your reasons are.

Nah, they likely took it away to keep people from complaining about massive battery drain.  The longer you keep your screen on the more battery is consumed.  Display assistant is more than that "one simple feature".  If you are one of those who gets annoyed that your screen times out while navigating a voice menu on a phone call, you can keep the dialer open and visible for up to 10 minutes.  Many people consider that feature alone worth the drive space the tiny app takes up.
