Galaxy S25It's rare, but not unusual to have to re-install your cards after an update to the Wallet app. Sometimes there's just no way for an update to add new features without interfering with the cards (and sometimes they just skrew up). Try @Teepea313 's solution and see if it works. If you are still having an issue after that, put in an error report.

Galaxy S25Hello @RenรฉeC, thank you for reaching out to the Community we understand how frustrating it is when your apps don't work as intended. I have listed a few steps that you can try to get this issue resolved.
1. Restart Your Device โ A restart may help to resolve temporary glitches caused by the update.
2. Clear Cache and Data โ Go to Settings > Apps > Samsung Wallet > Storage > Clear Cache and Clear Data. This can help resolve any bugs caused by the update and reset the app.
3. Reinstall Samsung Wallet โ If clearing the cache and data does not fix the issue, uninstall the app and reinstall it from the Galaxy Store to ensure you have the latest version.
4. Check for New Updates โ Sometimes, bugs from a recent update are fixed with subsequent patches. Go to Settings > Software Update to check for any new updates that may address the issue.
5. Verify Permissions โ Ensure that the app has the necessary permissions enabled for fingerprint and PIN verification under Settings > Apps > Samsung Wallet > Permissions.
I hope that this information was able to clear up the issue. Please feel free to let us know if it helped.

Galaxy S25Question. Samsung Wallet usually turns NFC on and off automatically when the app is opened and closed. Did you check that when you opened the wallet NFC went on? If it did not, put in an error report and create a routine to turn the NFC on when the wallet opens an off when the wallet closes. I did this for Google Wallet, because Google neither turns the NFC on nor off automatically. In the example below, substitute Samsung Wallet for Google Wallet (or add them both). If the cards have been added to the wallet and approved by your bank, the only reason they would not work is if NFC is off. You could also just switch to Google Wallet and add a button action or back tap action to activate it conveniently.

Galaxy S25Hence the reason I made the routine for when I use Google Wallet. Once it prompts you to turn NFC on, NFC stays on forever, even if you close the wallet. I don't like that. I prefer it goes off when I no longer am using it. I don't want to have to turn it on and off manually, so I made the routine to turn it on when I open the wallet and off when it's closed, just like Samsung Wallet is supposed to do when it's working properly. I do not have an S25, but I got all the most recent updates and I am not having a problem with Samsung Wallet that I know of - maybe I am and just don't know it, because I basically pay from my watch so I don't have to drag my phone out. It's actually the primary reason I bought my watches.

Galaxy S25@RenรฉeC If the troubleshooting steps and the recent update you received did not work, I would recommend sending an Error Report in the Samsung Members app. Check out this article here on how to do so: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10003603/
You also have the option to call in 1-800-SAMSUNG (726-7864) to have an agent provide further assistance.
