Why not let me choose how many times I want my phone to reing? I am astonished that with the advanced state of mobile technology today I can't even set my default ringtone to ring once, much less set rings for certain users individually to ring more than once. At best I can set the duration of all rings to a set time limit by using some convoluted code or contacting my mobile provider and having them do it! I used to be a Desktop Support Technician and yes, I did write a few scripts, but to be honest it drove me up a wall! Imagine how someone who is not technologically inclined must feel when told that they are expected to do the developers job. I was never a software developer, and now that I'm retired the last thing I want to do is spend my time looking for workarounds for software that doesn't work the way I was led to believe it should. Considering the sophisticated, complex software that you develope every day, for which I am eternally greatfull, is it really so difficult to do something so obvious?

Ring duration is set by your mobile carrier in length of time, which everyone interprets as number of rings. If you want to change it, you'll have to contact them.

I do. And with all the user posts and responses in this community, I'm still baffled as to why anyone thinks Samsung developers monitor these boards.

Don't you really mean, the way I would like it.
