During an exercise activity (for example, Walking), the watch changes to a screen which shows the current clock time at the top, beneath which are
Duration (large digits)

Distance

Duration (again, but small digits)

A heard symbol followed by heart rate

Is there a way to modify that screen so that it also shows Step Count?

Go to the exercise tile on the watch. Scroll the walking exercise into view. Tap the settings gear and scroll to workout screen snd select the data screen configuration. You can select to have steps appear on either data screen one or data screen 2.

Thanks! I found that after I'd posted the question, but it was first time I had posted anything, and I didn't know how to delete my post!

@userwfRgxHb29l Most of the exercise activity displays have more than one screen. I'll bet if you swipe up, down or to the left you will see a screen with that info.
