Battery drain problem
Need to fixed it
I update on 29/05/19.
Not in use watch also battery drain fast.
Before 2.5 day running
After the update only 1 day battery is going on.
Very big problem plz fixed it.
Already did all of these and still nothing.
I have the 46mm and from 5.5days of battery i've dropped to not even 3 days (32% usage/ 24h).
My Galaxy Watch is not even 2 months old.
Tomorrow morning i'm taking it in to have it reflashed with the old OS
^^That is not a troubleshooting guide. That is a "did you try a restart" guide.
I also have had this issue since the last update and yes, of course, I tried rebooting both devices. I'm not a total moron. There looks like a hundred people or more complaining in the forums so this is clearly something systemic. After we get past the "not my fault" pass the blame bits, has anybody actually looked into this? Bugs happen. I just want to know that it is being addressed and not pushed off like it isn't affecting anyone. If it is update related, can we roll back?
My Galaxy Watch does not last more than a day. It's fully charged every night and by 5 pm, it's done. I only have 4 basic app notifications coming to the watch, Always on and wake up off. I've done all the tips and suggestions, but does not help.
Any fix? What is going on?
Have you tried resetting the watch and uninstalling and reinstalling the Wearables app?
You can try these steps to help with the battery drain: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003232/
I purchased my Samsung Galaxy Watch in January 2019 and the battery life span has been fantastic until October 6, 2019 when an update was completed; the battery life span went from 4 days to less than a day even on the battery saving mode.
I went online to find a solution to the problem and I found multiple complaints with the same issue. I tried some of the recommended tips (power down and up both watch and cellphone) with no success.
It appears this is a known issue with Samsung for what I can see for over a year, if not longer; why continue sending updates that degrades the performance of a successful product it makes no sense to me.
I want to know what I can do to remedy this problem.
I also have a now useless watch that is barely 6 months old. Apparently even minor scratches to the screen negate the manufacturer's warranty and therefore this battery drainage issue is not covered unless the watch is basically new.
