Galaxy WatchSo i got the 8 classic last week and neither the Samsung rep or myself could figure out why the notifications for the wearable app are blocked with no way to change the setting. I reset all the settings and permissions to default, all apps and os are up to date, and the watch will connect to other phones. Any help in the right direction is greatly appreciated.

Because the Wear app itself does not send notifications. Any app that does not send notifications has the slider disabled. The notifications going to the watch come from the apps themselves that you set to allow notifications. They come *through* the Wear app, not *from* the Wear app.

Galaxy Watch@terinsuke The first step to getting notifications on the watch is to have the notifications enabled on the phone AND the phone must have the sound turned on or be in vibrate mode. If a notification is turned off on the phone OR if the phone is muted, your watch will not receive the notification.
