Unfortunately, Samsung's Health app is too cluttered and want to go back to Garmin. I honestly tried to stick with Sammy, almost a year, but find all these suggestions and noise isn't the way to go

How do I pull all data from Samsung and get it over to Garmin? Yes, a 3rd party I'll take. Samsung should have never stopped sharing with Garmin (yet the service to Strava wasn't removed)...

Most of Samsung's data is proprietary and cannot be transferred to other apps or non-Samsung devices.  They stopped sharing with Garmin most likely because they are now direct competitors, where Strava is not.  If you want to go back to Garmin, you will just have to start from scratch.

Yet, through developer mode, 3rd party apps, it's feasible...

You take away features we all once had... maybe Garmin's ecosystem is... just... better.

I still spent money on a watch...

Then use developer and/or third party apps. Samsung makes certain features proprietary for a reason - the reason being that it keeps people in the Galaxy ecosystem if their historical data is important to them.  It's important to note that they are not the only manufacturer to do this.  It is perfectly legal and makes sense from a business standpoint - not so much a user standpoint.

I hear ya and am aware of the proprietary angle. If I wanted all Sammy historical data deleted, how simple is it.....

You can download your health data - "all personal data stored on your phone and Samsung servers will be downloaded"  It is unclear to me whether a) it will also remain in those places (in other words a copy is downloaded) It does not say "removed", it says "downloaded", b) it is readable in plain text or, c) exportable to another app.

Correct, but as you pointed out, my health data is important to them, if I want them to delete it from their servers... it sounds as difficult, probably more difficult.

Either way, let's see what this upcoming beta does

There are separate settings to "leave Samsung Health", "Erase Personal Data" and slide off consent. which I believe eliminates all health data from the servers, as once you click it it rescinds your consent.  OTOH, being able to download the data, implies you have a copy that your can use for your own analysis and purposes.  Perhaps doing a Google search would clarify.

I didn't say that, but most times people have done certain things and post instructions and insights into what doing something does.  One needs to rely on one's own judgement and the source of the information.  Google is not a source, Google is a tool to find sources.
