Hi! It seems to me, that it is not possible to change the payment method of Galaxy Watch (7), binded behind the second/lower button via a long press. I think this is silly, since even if I would opt to use Samsung Wallet, which is the default and only possible method to bind to this interaction, in many countries many banks do not cooperate with Samsung Wallet at this point, which is the case with my bank. I understand that the company, Samsung, wishes to push their method, but since there are, to my understanding, even whole countries without support, I think it would be better to let people bind to this interaction any payment method they wish.

Thanks if you add this feature! For some buyers a significant portion of the appeal of a smart watch might be completing payments with it, so I would not recommend to hamper this appeal of your devices.

You can't bind the long press of the back (lower) button to another payment method, but you can assign the home button (top) to open your preferred payment method with a double click.

You can download Google Wallet and set the top (Home Button) for a Double press to open Google Wallet. Open settings in the Wear App, buttons and gestures set the Double press to Google Wallet.

The bottom button of the watch is strictly reserved for Samsung Pay.  You can use Google Wallet, and you can map the top button for Google Wallet, or any other wallet that can be downloaded to the watch (which is available worldwide), or you can select a watch face where you can put the Google Wallet (or any other wallet) app as a complication for easy access.  Samsung will likely never give up control of that button for any other wallet.

McAfee says Samsung Wallet is unsafe and I shouldn't install it. Any help?

That is a false positive from McAfee.  Hit the ignore when you get the warning and that should put it on the do not detect list.  Samsung Wallet is safe and secure, and it cannot be uninstalled.  If you use Samsung Pass, it is contained in the Wallet.

Thanks for your responses, though I already knew the top button can be binded for various actions like opening Google Wallet - I like to have it binded for something else though.

I repeat myself, but it is silly that one of the button prompts is completely useless for so many customers, though I admit that in Finland, where I live, there are two popular banks that support Samsung Pay, but then again, who would swhich their bank just to use this feature? Even in a small country like Finland there are quite many banks with client offices around the country; Google Gemini gave a number of seven main/major banks, but even in that number quite a popular bank which I use was not listed. I would actually use Samsung Pay if I could just for the sake of convenience. I also read that Samsung Pay uses some type of transaction method that some countries or banks may not accept in their policies, so there might not even be any future cooperation between Samsung and some banks to make Samsung Pay more available?

Not a big deal in the end but not the best design decision either in my opinion. I would let people do with their watch what they want, since it's a better recipe to get customers accustomed to your products than stricting options, the sense of freedom I mean.
