Update 5/18/26

Past 3 days. One night showed reasonable data. I've included the day before the reasonable data and the day after. This is extremely frustrating.

I have a Galaxy Watch 7 (2025) Ultra. Sleep tracking is awful. All the garbage about fit, wear, or cleaning do not apply. Every now and then I "might" get a good reading, rarely. Most often I'm getting awake for 6 hours or so. I fall asleep and wake up in the position I fell asleep in. I KNOW, I sleep. What gives? Last year, I was getting good sleep results. After a software update, I started having issues.

Just an example of bad data collection. I do show some movement but not over 6ยฝ hours of being awake.

Previous night before the more accurate data. Again, no movement or periods of awakening.

Night before: Good data, even my movement corresponds with the data. I did get up for a restroom break.

Last night's data. Notice no movement corresponding with the periods of awakening the watch claims I'm experiencing.

I know others have this issue. I just can't trust Samsung.

I have the same issue with not getting an accurate sleep reading. It's got my average sleep time at 4.50 hours. It will also register that I took a nap, when I'm sitting at my desk working. It's frustrating that it's so inaccurate.

I have a Galaxy 5 watch. The recording of data is getting worse. This week, it does not appear that any sleep data has been captured. My stress reading is constantly showing High.

Same issue here. I have an Ultra (2024) and an 8 Classic and both give useless info for sleep. Not anywhere close to accurate.

Recently, as in the past few days, my sleep issues, after months of incorrect sleep data, has resolved the issues and now reports more correct or at least believable data.

As I have issues with both bradycardia and tachycardia correct sleep data is useful. I know it's not medical perfection, but the watch data and the health app help with a trend. Trends are very useful.
I did go to my heart doctor and got my beats corrected. Maybe that solved the issue of incorrect data saying I'm awake 6 hours out of 8 hours saying I'm awake when I have not moved at all during the night. The movement line was flat when the data said I was awake. So maybe the software issue may have been fixed.
