Timer on my Samsung Gas Range randomly stops working

For the past few months, the timer on my Samsung has range (model NX60T8511SS) has been randomly stopping after a few seconds, going extremely slow, or even backing up a few seconds. Itโ€™s so weird. The stove was installed in 2021, so itโ€™s not even five years old yet. Weโ€™ve already had to replace the igniter in the oven.
I suppose I could use the timer on my phone but my suspicion is that this is a symptom that the circuit board is on its way out. Is there a reset button somewhere?

Is it possible that a $2K+ range cannot even make it five years???  So disappointing.

Hey JanetAlman! Thanks for visiting the Community!  Let's try these steps to get your clock working as it should on your range.

Try unplugging the unit or tripping the circuit breaker for about 30 seconds. Hopefully this can reset it and get it back to optimal condition.

Also, you can try to reset the clock: Press and hold the Clock button on the control panel until the display shows "00:00," then press it again to enter time-setting mode and adjust the time

If this does not help I recommend letting a service technician have a look. As we would like to gather additional information, and look at this from a case by case basis, please provide the full model code and serial number of the device as well as your best contact phone number, name, and email.

Thank you for your suggestions. I was able to pull the stove out far enough from the wall to reach the plug. I unplugged it and left it for about three minutes and then plugged it back in. I was not able to make the clock to display 0000  by holding my finger on the clock button. I just got a flashing โ€œ1โ€ for about a minute and then it just went back to normal.

Unfortunately, this problem has been intermittent so itโ€™s hard to duplicate it right away. I have been randomly trying to set the timer just to see if it happens again. So far it hasnโ€™t, but there was about two weeks in between the last two incidents so itโ€™s hard to say if itโ€™s fixed. I will update if it is.

Thanks again
