Daily Board won't work

I have a 77 inch S95F OLED TV.  I love it.  However the manual leaves a lot to be desired.  Right now my problem is that I can't get Daily Board to work and I can't get Bixby to turn on my TV.  I have followed all the direction I could find in the manual, no help.  Can't find anything on YouTube and can't get any help from Samsung.  Anything you can share would be much appreciated.

Please try the following: it seems the daily board may not be turned on. Press the Home button on the remote. Navigate to: Menu > Connected Devices or SmartThings. Select Daily Board. If it's not listed: Go to Menu > Settings > General & Privacy > Daily Board and turn it on. If this does not help, the next option I would recommend is to call in directly at 1-800-726-7864 and ask for our remote management team. They should be able to access your TV directly and help get this set up.

Hi there, Could you provide a little more detail about the issues you're experiencing? For the Daily Board, are you receiving any error messages when trying to use it? As for Bixby, are you able to use Bixby to control other aspects of the TV? Lastly, have you checked to make sure the TV software is updated? Here's a link with steps on updating:

Software is up to date.  I am receiving no errors.  There is no edit capabilities for widgets or anything.  As for Bixby, I am able to do other things with him, and even turning on the TV by saying Hi Bixby.  However, walking around in front of the screen will not turn it on.  Thank you for responding.  🙂

Thank you for trying this. I would also recommend that, if you have not already to make sure that hands-free is turned on. You can do that by the following: Bixby Settings > Voice Wake-up > Hands-free wake-up.  I would also recommend checking the daily board settings. You will need to be on the daily board first, from there go to edit settings and configure the User Detection On/Off, Sensitivity, or Inactive Schedule settings.  I would also recommend making sure night mode is turned off, too, as this will cause it to not wake up even if someone is in front of it. 

 

Finally, I would also make sure nothing is in front of the TV, such as a soundbar, plants, or a decorative bezel that goes around it, as this can obstruct the sensors.

Thank you for all of that.  Bixby settings are on as you stated.  Finally got it to work a few minutes ago, even though I made the correct settings a few days ago.

Here is what puzzles me:  I go to the Home Screen - on the left side I go to the "Daily +" and when it comes up there is no evidence of being able to edit anything there.  There are LOGOS etc., but no Edit capabilities.

I think I may know why now. It seems you are in the wrong menu. You will need to have the daily board active first to be able to edit the settings for it. You will need to have the TV off, then say Hi Bixby to get the daily board to come up, or you can say Hi Bixby, open Daily Board with the TV on. Then you should be able to edit the settings from there.  Please let me know if this helps!
