I have inherited a Samsung TV from my aunt. All I have is the TV and the remote.
When I turned the TV on, I get a screen saying that it wants to pair with the keyboard. I presuming thatโ€™s a YouTube keyboard, but I donโ€™t have one.

Is there any way to get around this? I want to use the on screen keyboard so I can connect it to the Wi-Fi.

Iโ€™m thinking that somebody has already had this experience and also a workaround.

If there isn't anything plugged into it, like a USB. Maybe changing the Bluetooth settings could help if it allows you to get there.

Yes, you can skip the keyboard pairing screen and use the TVโ€™s on-screen keyboard with just the remote.Quick steps:Skip pairing: On the keyboard pairing screen, look for and select โ€œSkipโ€, โ€œCancelโ€, or โ€œUse on-screen keyboardโ€ (use arrow buttons + Enter on remote). If no option shows, press the Back/Return button on the remote repeatedly.
Reset remote pairing (helps most cases):Point remote at TV.
Hold Back (Return) + Play/Pause buttons together for 5โ€“10 seconds until pairing message appears.
Then try Wi-Fi setup again.
Cold boot TV:Unplug TV from wall for 60โ€“90 seconds.
Plug in, turn on, and proceed to Wi-Fi. On-screen keyboard should appear when you select a network and need to enter password. Navigate with arrow keys + Enter.
If stuck: During setup, when highlighting Wi-Fi, press Select/Enterโ€”on-screen keyboard usually pops up automatically. Type password using remote D-pad.

This works on most inherited Samsung TVs. Once on Wi-Fi, you can finish setup normally.
