Issues with My Bespoke Combo Unit

My Bespoke combo unit has been shaking significantly, which has become increasingly concerning. It is particularly troubling that, despite the severity of the shaking, the unit has not displayed any error codes. The shaking is intense enough to cause the unit to shift its physical position from the original place it was installed, to then be sitting at a shifted angle. In response to these issues, I have reached out for support, resulting in two service technician visits to my home. However, their efforts have not been successfully diagnosed or resolved.

According to the technicians, the source of the shaking may be related to the flooring beneath the unit. They have suggested that the unit is not positioned on "proper flooring," but have failed to provide a clear definition of what constitutes an appropriate surface for the appliance.

The combo unit is installed on the second floor of my house. It rests directly on a stable floor constructed of ยพ-inch plywood, which is both glued and nailed to the floor joists, per Virginia construction codes. There are no additional materials or layers placed between the unit's feet and the plywood flooring. Despite this solid installation, technicians have insisted that the floor is insufficient but have not specified what type of flooring is required per Samsung manufacturers.

The most severe shaking occurs at the end of the wash cycle, just before the spin cycle begins, and continues throughout the spin cycle itself. This persistent problem has not been resolved by the previous service visits or the installation conditions described above.

I have spoken to the Samsung support team again today, and the issue has been escalated.

We also initially had this issue with our new Samsung Bespoke AI All-in-One Vented Combo washer and dryer: thought it was a counter weight issue or manufacture defect in the drum which was noted as two possible issues.  What ended up working for us was the following:

after checking the obvious - no shipping bolts (4), saw Samsung Rep say 4 or 5โ€ฆ.not sure where a 5th one would be, unit came with a separate install sheet that notes and diagrams only 4 shipping bolts.  Also, we use a matching pedestal and ensured it was locked into this as well.  Maybe the pedestal contributes to more vibration due to the center of gravity being higher (?), do not know because ours is only on a pedestal.
My solution:  I made sure unit had zero rocking, pushing on sides and it should not shake at allโ€ฆ.showing that all four corners are level on the floor.  Ours is on a second story laundry room on a tile floor. Next once unit is firmly on the floor, I used a wood block (2โ€ X 6โ€), tilted the unit up in front and slid the 2โ€ block in the middle far enough in to pass the edge of the pedestal front edge and where it can support the unit and hold it off the ground in front 2โ€.  This provides free access to the pedestal feet. I could not get the rear feet to move, believe the rear (L&R) feet are stationary, but the two front (L&R) feet to turn to raise and lower them.
so what I did was to make sure both front feet were all the way up (counter clockwise), and then I marked with a sharpie a black line on the very front of both L&R feetโ€ฆ.this was key, then I rotated (clockwise) down the feet exactly 10 full rotations - both Feet (L&R), so they are calibrated exactly to one another.  This will cause your whole machine to be slightly higher in front but should keep and or make the unit exactly level in front from left to right.
Next once both front feet are equally set to 10 rotations (yours may differ), I very carefully tiled the unit upward toward the rear to remove the 2x6 propping it up, and carefully set it down, making sure I did not disturb those two front L&R Feet, I just calibrated to 10 full turns.

Next, I went into settings and washer settings and selected both diagnostics and ran that, also mainly โ€œCalibrationโ€ setting which seems to focus on calibrating the counter weights to the units current position.  This seemed to be key.  From this point on we had a very  significant reduction of vibration and mostly none.   When the unit starts to spin on highest setting and slows down we may get a temp vibration but now once in a while and that can now just be due to load balance.  This truly has fully addressed and solved our problem.  Now 10 full rotations of both L&R front pedestal feet worked for us, you may need to see which works for you.  From time to time I check the unit simply by grabbing it with both hands and seeing if and where I can shake or rock the unit.  I have had no movement since I tried the steps noted here, but if I had, I would simply use that block of wood, check those feet again and maybe try some small adjustments (1/4 Turn of one or both from feet?   Best of Luck.  Samsung Technical Support only address some of the reasons for this issue.  Here is a real solution from a real long term Samsung Customer.

We are having the same issues. we have to be very carful on what we load. I'm about ready to bolt this thing to the floor! Seems like this last update made it worse too. not sure.
