Hi All,

I have a Bespoke washing machine WF90F53ADSA5. The detergent auto dispenser  is getting filled with water as it dispenses the detergent. Is this normal? How does the auto dispenser actually dispense? The manual doesnt really explain a whole lot except to fill it up. Yes, we are using HE detergent and it does appear to get dispensed but just don't understand the water situation.

Thanks!

Hello rcocuzzi,

It does appear that the washer is operating as designed "normal". With our automatic dispenser feature yes, it needs to fill with a small amount of water during the cycle to flush the liquid detergent/softener into the drum, but as previously stated by MrGhoul if it's filling up excessively or overflowing with water, that's a problem that can indicate multiple concerns such as but not limited to, high water pressure, clogged nozzles, or a malfunctioning valve, requiring troubleshooting. If you deem service is needed please use this provided link to proceed https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/

My understanding that is not normal.
If your Bespoke washer's auto dispenser is filling with water, it may indicate a clog or an issue with the outflow duct. Check for blockages in input and output valves. You may be able to Use a cotton swab to clean the duct. - Run hot water through it to dissolve any buildup.

If you can't resolve it yourself, you will likely need to contact Samsung support to possibly have it serviced.

I turned down the water pressure a couple of twists and I checked the ports for clogs, which they are not seeing that the machine is only two weeks old. So will monitor it for another fill of detergent.

So had the tech back out for third time and for the same  problem of the right dispenser filling with water and the left functioning correctly. This time, when on the line with tech support, they noticed that the AI was malfunctioning and had both drawers set to "detergent". So they disabled AI and set the right dispenser to detergent and the left to softener. Phone support tech stated that he has same model machine and had same issues. So we shall see what happens this time.

Well it looks like our issue persists. The detergent drawer is once again filling with water and dilutes the detergent and we never get the empty indication. Also seems like some of the community "experts" have no idea what they are talking about. The Bespoke does not push water into the auto dispensers to flush out the contents. If it did operate that way it would never empty. Pretty stupid experts. So I check to make sure the AI pattern is still disabled and that the drawer assignments were correct, and they were. Guess I will be calling for another service visit.

Recieved for Xmas notice the issue early January had 4 or 5 tech visits and the last time they said they replaced the drawers and hope that it would be okay I called Samsung the next day and say I'm still having the same issues what is the problem at this point you guys need to come pick up the machine and or replace it I think I spoke to tear too but they were able to give me options store credit exchange would take 15 business days to approve I said that's way too long so they said that the refund process would be a lot quicker
