Monitors and MemoryHello, I just bought 57inch neo G9 model LS57CG952NNXZA. It was working perfectly fine for 2 weeks and all of a sudden with 240hz refresh I am seeing video color distortion at peak when objects move of the screen. Then I checked that firmware is due for an update from 1001.2 to latest 1023.7.
In order to perform the upgrade via USB I have followed all the instructions provided on the Samsung website but the file is not getting recognized from the USB. I have tried multiple USBs without any luck. It keeps pointing out that the file is not present when the file is actually present.
Note: I have unzipped the file and copied the data into the USB. It has info.txt and update.msd files.
Kindly help. I do not want to return the screen as I really like it but if this issue is not resolved then I won't have any other option.

Monitors and MemoryHello folks, couple of insights from my testing which will help pain the ease.
First off, for this specific model if you are using DP cable v1.5 or lower you will encounter screen issues at 8k 60hz. You will need to run HDMI 2.1 in order to get 8k at 60hz . I have tested with 4090 having DP 1.4 with DP cable v2.0 and v2.1, 8k at 60hz will not run correctly.
You need to have the GPU and cable both at DP v2.1.
Right now only way to run 8k at 60hz is with any GPU having HDMI 2.1 port using HDMI v2.1 cable and you will get 8k at 120hz.
With GPU DP port at v1.4 and DP cable at v 2.1, you can run 5120x1440p at full 240hz.
Coming to upgrading the firmware of the screen model: LS57CG952NNXZA, the US site at the current date: 10/24/2023 is hosting incorrect version. If you will download the firmware and try to update the screen, it will not recognize the file as it is incorrect. The file available on US site is: upgrade.msd. The screen expects an iso image.
However, I was able to update to the latest version by visiting the EU samsung site and downloading the file from their. The file I got from EU site is: M-C9557GGPA-1003.0[4488].img which is the file to be used. Just follow rest of the same instructions to upgrade and it should work.

Monitors and MemoryI read somewhere that the USB drive should be a small capacity like 8GB or less type of thing.
so, if you've been trying with a 32gb or larger capacity USB - that's likely the problem.
Also NOTE: There are two USB Ports on the back and one will work with the Update Driver software and the other apparently won't - so, you might need to try plugging in the USB stick into one of the ports and if that doesn't work - try the other usb port.
I'm not sure if any of this is true - since, I haven't actually tried to update the driver yet.

Monitors and MemoryThis is exactly my issue as well. When I called Samsung support line they said I have to pay to talk to a technician to get this updated!!! Are you kidding me?
In my case the monitor is able to detect the device but it says - "No Update files found on your USB device. Please check your USB device and try again. (File Name: M-T9549GGAA-****.*)
