QLED and The Frame TVs

Purchased a new Frame Pro TV in the last few weeks and have been uploading 16:9 artwork to it from the Smartthings app on my phone. I'd like to get rid of the mat around the artwork, so the artwork extends to the edge of the screen on all sides. It looks like "no mat" used to be an option when displaying artwork, but did Samsung do away with this? I only have two mat options to choose from. One is a simple border around the whole image, the other is a simple border with a bit of shading on the edge of the art to give it a 3D effect. I can choose the mat color but there's no option to get rid of the mat altogether. Does anyone know of a workaround for this? Samsung - PLEASE bring back the "no mat" option!

I have the same problem. I bought my FrameTV in 2021 and after initially trying to get rid of the mat, I learned that as long as I uploaded my images in 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution, it would default to NO MAT. Perfect. I wished for an easier upload process, but I was satisfied with not having to set the mat individually, because I like to upload 75-100 images at a time and change them every month to suit the mood, holiday or season.

This worked for me for the past 4 years until a recent update to the TV firmware, and now it applies the white shadowbox mat to every image by default. I hate the white shadowbox mat. For one thing - it's never actually white. It looks "dirty" next to the white in my images. Besides, I spent a small fortune on a "Deco Frames" Frame, and it really doesn't need a *digital* mat. Just give me back my NO MAT default please. Is anyone at Samsung listening? How can I communicate with you? Please put it back the way it was. If I could make one of your programmers sit with me every time I process setting the mat individually on 100 images in one sitting, I bet they would agree with me that it's a completely unnecessary P-I-T-A.
