I've been successfully displaying my own photo slideshows for years, but now I get an error when I press the "Display all" button: . "Get Membership": You need a subscription..."
All I'm trying to do is display a slideshow of jpg images which I OWN, imported from USB.
What I've tried so far:
-
Sign out of SmartThings
-
Disconnect Network
-
Switch off at the plug, wait 10 minutes
-
Ensure all artwork is exact size, normal jpg, no metadata
-
Test with art that worked in the past
Nothing works!

QLED and The Frame TVsI don't have this option, just curious if Tv has USB port to stab in a USB stick of image file.
Would that bypass the App?
Being forced to use their App seems a bit intrusive.
Cheers

QLED and The Frame TVsOccasionally the app works, but most of the time it freezes. Thatโs why I import images via USB and control via the physical remoteโฆ
I hope they fix this problem soon!

QLED and The Frame TVsI noticed the same thing. Just want to have the Frame โdisplay allโ which will rotate through the pictures I added to โMy Photosโ album. Since 2022, it has worked for me until today (July 22, 2025) when I added 17 more photos I took recently to โMy Photos.โ

QLED and The Frame TVsI have 3 Samsung Frame TVs and two of them are doing this now. Just started yesterday. When I select slideshow, it says I need a subscription. Never done that before and I have been using them for years. I was able to access the TVs using the SmartThings app and start the slideshow from within the app so it is a temporary way around the issue, but this needs to be fixed

QLED and The Frame TVsThe same thing happened to me starting July 22nd 2025. I have had my frame TV for years. I've never had a subscription to the Art Store. I solely use the Frame to display my personal art. Prior to July 22nd, 2005, I was always able to rotate the images via the "Display All" function. Now it says "You will need a subscription to use Art store" when I click on Display All.

QLED and The Frame TVsSame thing here. I have been using the slideshow feature since I bought the Frame TV 2 years ago. I certainly hope this isn't Samsung trying to milk more money from its users!

QLED and The Frame TVsI'm assuming it had to do with a software update with a glitch in it. I only say that because you can still start the slideshow mode from the Smart Things app (which I'd never used and had to install just to get the slideshow to start functioning). However, it's a pain doing it via the app.
