Intermittent backlight issues

Hello community, I’m having periodic backlight issues on my tv where i get this dark zone on the top right of my tv, it’ll show up for a couple days and then disappear for a couple of days. Any thoughts on what the issue might be? Trying to avoid an expensive repair bill if I can repair it myself.

It appears your backlighting is going bad and needs to be replaced by a certified Samsung technician.
