I like some of the features of Google messages that I would like to see in Samsung messages.
First would be a notification in the bar informing me if I'm in RCS chats or SMS.
Second would be the option to react to messages or other media.
Third would be the generative AI for chats the Google messages have been experimenting. Based on conversation it generates a response to send.
I really like the stock Samsung messages app because of the theming capabilities. I like to have different backgrounds for different recipients. As well as customization of chat bubbles.
