Health App : Daily activity showing floors instead of steps

Either through my phone or Samsung watch 7 I must have changed my settings to count floors instead of steps & I cant change it back. 

This is quite annoying as I cannot easily see my daily step count on my health widget. 

Any help appreciated. Pictures below show before (desired screen) & after.

Tap the 3 dots in the top corner Set Targets and change Motion to steps

What if you want it to count both?  Many times I have to walk up my stairs and I have long noticed that only footfall steps are counted, not floors..

It still counts both but only one is listed in the heart you just have to open the app and click on Daily Activity and scroll down to show all details

Hmm.  I never see floors counted when I check.  I always see steps (#) and floors (0).  Let me root around and see if I'm missing it somehow.  Is it in the step counter or the daily activity statistics?

Oh, I see I've been looking in the wrong place.  I actually very rarely tap on the heart icon. Now I'm gonna have to when I do stairs.  Next month when the elevator is down all week for scheduled maintenance.  Still irks me it only does up, not down, as if we fly down stairs or slide down the banisters.
