Those percentages are way off. This kind of error is putting people's health at risk and therefore unacceptable.

Think its more of a recommendation

The recommendation is the pie chart on the left. The pie chart on the right is supposed to be the % calculation of what I have actually consumed, and the intention is to adjust my fiet to more closely match the recommendation.

But those calculations are incorrect. Had I not realized this, I would have continued to make incorrect adjustments based on incorrect data given by the app.

What's you issue? One illustration shows your recommended ratio of nutients and the other shows what you are actually achieving - by metrics you are entering. How is the calculation putting your life at risk? It would seem more that your inability to reach the recommended levels is what is putting your health at risk.

My issue, though obvious, is very clearly stated in my previous post.

The app is meant to provide guidance to help me achieve the recommended levels. However, the math is wrong and is steering me off course rather than helping

23.8g carbs is 40% of the total (59.9g) NOT 32% as the pie chart says.

Read my post again. I said “health” not “life.”

It is a health app providing incorrect health data by getting simple arithmetic wrong.

Thankfully, I am not diabetic. If someone suffering from diabetes or other metabolic issue believed this incorrect reporting of micronutrient intake then that would indeed be life-threatening.

In any case, if you believe it to be in error, the proper avenue is to put in an error report with the developments team, not a post on a peer to peer user forum

Well that is my mistake then. I thought this was the help forum. Thank you for the link.

It is the help forum, but it is user to user, and no user can fix this for you. Only the programmers can. The programmers do not monitor or act on forum posts.
