Samsung Apps and ServicesI have SmartSwitch backups on my PC from several previous phones that I no longer own, and they're taking up significant storage space on my PC. Can they simply be deleted via Windows, or is there some process that I should use from within SmartSwitch?

Samsung Apps and ServicesOpen the Smart Switch app (with or without your phone connected, it doesn't matter). After you tap away the annoying Microsoft reminder screen, tap the dot menu on the upper right. Select "preferences". You will then be presented with the following screen with a list of your backups. Check the circles of the ones you want to delete and then tap delete backup on the upper right.

Samsung Apps and ServicesYou can delete the files directly from the file manager, you can move them onto a flash drive (in case you have some forgotten important data in the backup), or you can delete them through the Smart Switch computer app (so that the index stays correct).

Samsung Apps and ServicesSamsung, if you're "listening," that's a DUMB place to put this.
"Preferences?" Seriously?

Samsung Apps and ServicesNot being charitable, I guess the sarcasm didn't come through. I was figuring that their logic in placing it there was because the location setting is a preference, and as long as you were setting a location, they may as well show you the list of your backups.
I only found it by accident when I wanted to check/change a setting. It is not intuitive and, had I not had any backups, I still wouldn't know where to find them.
