When receiving messages from a particular user it opens a message bubble that when tapped will open the conversation chat box. Unfortunately I can't remember how I got it to do that. How can I duplicate it for other users that text me?

Hello Rayzer, thank you for posting. I understand you would like to view other user text messages by tapping the bubble. This is a very fun and convenient way to access text messages. I understand you have navigated your settings but haven't found a solution. Please follow these steps to allow all users to show as bubble notifications.

1. Go to Settings, and then tap Notifications.

2. Tap Advanced settings, tap Floating notifications, and then choose Bubbles.

3. Go to and open the Samsung Messages app.

4.Tap More options (the three vertical dots), and then tap Settings.

5.Tap Notifications, and then tap Notification categories. Then, tap a conversation. Tap Bubble settings for this app.

6.Tap All to have all conversations appear in bubbles, or Selected only if you'd like only some conversations in bubbles.

It took me a while to find it. I discovered it under
Settings>notifications>advanced settings>conversations
But it only gives me an option to change on these three.
Kinda stumped on adding additional conversations for modification. 1689809855328_1689809855312_0.jpgScreenshot_20230719_163310_Settings.jpg

Turn on Bubbles. Go into the Messages app(google) and you can select one of 3. In some apps if on and support bubbles it'll have an icon at the bottom right of the notification where you can turn that conversation into a bubbles
