Unable to create custom stickers in Gallery

I'm having an issue creating stickers from the gallery.

In the past, we could long press to get a sticker selection and then manually edit that selection.

Now however, the ai selection makes it's selection, and we get no option to adjust that selection at all.

(For instance, I wanted just a head selection, but instead it selected the entire object with now option to crop or adjust it.)

Getting some videos posted on how these new tools can be used would be SO helpful, instead of only seeing 50,000 camera shootouts.

Exactly a downgrade is what happened. I've been with samsung for probably around 10 years because I've always liked the new features they put out, which normally made things easier. A change like this, in my opinion, was a bad move in the wrong direction of "improvements." Can only hope more people find it as big of an issue and it can be changed back to the simple way.

I have been using samsung for so long and i was happy with how i can customize the stickers. But now,  If you are trying to change a vague sticker like a QR code.. the AI will only choose the DOTS or the SQUARES in it.. such a downgrade.. i will need to use another editing APP just to add another image.. :(((((((

The photo sticker button only selects the image for you. This is not usable in any matter. I am trying to use another photo with a logo on it to place on a building so our village can see the concept and due to the new AI grabbing the image that it wants to it's cutting off letters and has no ability. The previous version worked absolutely perfect a bus go back to where it was

So I've been trying all the suggestions and I'm still not able to edit the stickers. I have all updates done that are available. But when choosing stickers from my gallery it chooses what it wants and won't allow me to edit it. It's a pain in the you know what to go into the gallery and create an image first for a sticker then have to go back to the image I want to use the sticker for and then add it when it was a simple one step process before. As an example I like using an app Happy Color for my occupational therapy. Sometimes I'd create funny pictures from them using my wife's bitmogi to add her face to the image. I was able to select just the part of the face or whatever on the fly to fit best taking only a couple minutes at most. Now I have to go back and forth multiple times and the last one I did took 15 minutes with multiple edits.

I tried to test out the new cut and paste feature in gallery but for some reason it keeps glitching out and turns the screen off. (I have the flip 5)

how do YOU get to the cut n paste feature in your phone?!

It's in the generate section now! When you edit a photo and press generate in the bottom left, you press the plus on the top left and it's the same as adding stickers from last update. Same exact format, just moved 😮‍💨

I agree I don't like the new version,  It chooses the part of the photo to use the sticker before you could draw around what you wanted. And I need that function back as I am a designer and I do a lot of my graphic design from my phone. And that sticker function was a big part of it Hopefully, there's a way around it or something to edit. If you find a way, please let me know

Agreed. Samsung bricked gallery for me. Photo editing/actually custom stickers is why I didn't move to Motorola after my flip4 crapped out. O well, maybe I make the move now.

Does anyone know of a third party app where you can create and use your own stickers from images?
