Apps open in split screen/pop up only

Hey all! Have a Galaxy Tab S9+ with the latest software updates. Recently when I open an app they only open in split screen/pop up modes. I have disabled all of the multiview/screen pop up views and restarted the tablet. Still no change. 

Any advice on how to enable all of my apps to open in full screen?

I had this happening on my Tab S9+. I found out that it was because the Tab was in Dex mode.
