I've happily used my Doqo Magic Keyboard on my Samsung Tab S9+ since I bought my tablet. Since the update, when not used for a brief period of time the keyboard is still connected but not responsive... At all!

I have to Unpair each time & then re-pair the Keyboard each time I want to use it. This is a horrible experience & I'd like to go back to the previous version until this problem can be fixed, that's if Samsung ever bothers to fix it at all.

After our discussion with Doqo, a new update has been published. An installation video is also provided. You can access both through the same link. I’ve tried it and it and it works.

I tried the update and was able to install it, so far nothing has changed, but if I'm not wrong previously the case used to become obselete upon closing it until you repaired it, but now it still works after closing and opening. So that's a minor plus, but the mousepad is still wonky as before

For detection you need to hold almost close the case while you press the buttons, I had to try a couple times for fear of  breaking it, but it works after the red light comes on

Noticed this same issue as soon as I applied the Samsung update the revved my S9 FE+ to Android 15 (UI 7) a few days ago.   Thanks for creating this thread, OP!

After reading this thread, I found this link to an updated tablet keyboard firmware, along with printed & video instruction (which you should review).   Admittedly, because I don't speak or read Chinese, I concluded from the file date that this firmware would address the issue - so apply your own judgement?   (I reviewed the linked video of the update to make sure it corresponded to the downloaded APK and that the device update showed the same 'mouse'):

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1JgjtNGBs7xHcJq1Ym4gxrO2AL2DcBXgO

You can find the same link on this Doqo page near the bottom under "Keyboard update package"

I had a little trouble getting the red light to light up on the keyboard while pressing A & T, but once I cleared that hurdle the firmware update applied pretty quickly.   I'm sure the update applied because now the keyboard shows up in the list of bluetooth devices as 'tablet keyboard' instead of 'doqo' or whatever it was before.

Update has only been applied for about an hour now, but so far closing the keyboard/tablet and rebooting the tablet haven't required me to re-pair, so I am hopeful that this update complete resolves the problem of the keyboard no longer working even though it appears to be paired with the tablet.

I had these same problems and got this reply from the manufacturer. The part in step 3 wasn't made clear in the instructions in the excel spreadsheet. They show it in the video but the explanation is in Chinese, so I didn't quite understand. Without this step their updater couldn't detect my keyboard. Once I followed these steps it worked 🙂 Hope this helps.

Here’s Step-by-Step Firmware Update Process:
1、Enable Bluetooth on Your Tablet:
Go to Settings > Bluetooth and make sure it’s turned on.
2、Launch the Firmware Update Tool:
Open the update software downloaded from our product page. (link is shared earlier in this thread.)
3、Press and Hold the A/T Key:
Locate the A/T key on your keyboard and keep it held down throughout the next steps.
Close and Reopen the Magnetic Cover (While Holding A/T):
Gently close the magnetic cover over the keyboard, then immediately open it again—do not release the A/T key during this action.
4、Check for the Red Indicator Light:
After reopening the cover, look for the red light on the keyboard. It should turn on if the steps are done correctly.
5、Scan and Update When Ready:
Once the red light is on, click "Scan for Devices" in the update tool and follow the prompts to complete the firmware installation.

Why This Step Is Critical
The magnetic cover triggers a hardware reset that prepares the keyboard for firmware installation. Without this, the update tool can’t establish a stable connection, leading to failed updates.
What to Expect
If done correctly, the red light will remain on throughout the update.

After this I had to unpair and re-pair the keyboard, but now I can close the cover and not have to re-pair it again each time, like I had to before the update.

Instructions worked beautifully, my keyboard works again! Thank you on providing those easy steps.

Seems likely that I couldn't initially make step 3 work (get red light to come on) because I didn't realized I had to close the cover for the magnet to initiate something.  Thanks for providing that missing detail!
