Hello! Thank you for reaching out. Since the information is not working, you can also try all the information in the link below. To go to the next option if the info did not help, please select no for help.

If this does not help, then this will be something that will require service. Depending on your warranty, you will have a few options.

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up.
- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators or you can call in directly at 1-800- 726-7864 with your full model and serial number to have service setup
- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.

You have to long press and keep hold the Power and the Volume down until it force shuts down.  Just keep holding the buttons once its off follow steps below

Power Off: Ensure the Samsung tablet is completely turned off.

Press Buttons: Simultaneously press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons.

Recovery Screen: Continue holding the buttons until the Android Recovery screen appears (usually within 10-15 seconds).

Navigate to Reset: Use the Volume buttons to scroll down and select "Wipe data/factory reset".

Select Reset: Use the Power button to confirm your selection.

Confirm Reset: Select "Yes" to confirm the factory reset.

Reboot: Select "Reboot system now" to restart the tablet.

Be careful with factory reset in bootloader. If you didn't shut down with a password, then your factory reset won't let you set it up until you enter your password. It finds out that it was factory reset forcefully.

A factory reset, regardless of method, completely erases all data. Passwords are only contained in that data. If you are signing into the same Google and Samsung accounts you will be able to set up your device and create a new password. You will only not be able to complete setup if you sign into an account the device was not registered to.
