How to Set Up Pen for New Device

How do I activate or set up a pen for my new device I just registered

It should be as simple as placing the pen on the side of the tablet.

If you have another tablet that you used that for, have to turn off that device to sync the pen I had that issue with mine it wouldn't connect so try that.
