Just bought a refurbished Tab S8+ but when setting up I can't select my region (USA) on an Android tablet.
I bought a used Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+. I began setting it up, right after language, was "Select your country" (or region?).
I'm in the US and US was not an option. There were only 10ish countries listed, all relatively close to each other: Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Thailand, etc.
Second it won't update to the latest OS. It stays at Android 14 with a security patch from 2024 when I see the latest should be at Android 16 with a more recent security patch.
I tried factory reseting but the problem is on going
Hi sorry coming back to this so with WiFi only tabs it doesn't come with a IMEI only cellular connected tabs have that. Also, I was finally able able to find the model name through my Samsung account SM-X800NIDBXAR weird because I can't even find this number on the device itself
