Hope this is a bug instead of feature. It happened during some time in OneUI 6 + Tab S8 but eventually fixed.
Whenever I open an app in DeX mode (tablet screen), the app's window pop up, but it will always open at the exact same location with exact same size every time. Previously in OneUI 5 and OneUI 7, the app will open at the previously closed location with the same size.
@Samsung_Op0afTi Are you quitting the app or closing the app? If you are closing the app, it will show up in recents, I would expect it to open in the previous location. But if you are quitting the app, I would expect it to open in some predefined location in the code.
If you think this is in error, use the Samsung Members app -> Support -> Send feedback.
I do believe this is a bug now, since the location of windows opening is also inconsistent depending on a lot of factors, such as previously opened app, restarting the device, etc..
Anyone found a workaround for this yet? My streaming apps are trash now since it stretches them when opening in a window then going full-screen. Older versions would open apps full-screen to start with if you closed them that way, so they appear full resolution instead of being stretched and looking terrible.
