So I'm trying to check my S Pen battery life, but I'm having issues. I tried to check with the air command feature to check, nothing there to show battery life. I tried putting on the back to my tablet where I normally put it when not in use, long press the S Pen button, and yet again, nothing! I even helded it a bit longer! I have the S9 FE tablet and it's the wifi version, not the cellular version. Could that be why?
The s-pen on the FE tablets does not have a battery, it's just a basic Wacom stylus. The non-FE tablets have the pro s pen which supports air gestures and remote shutter.
