Replacement S Pen not connecting for air actions!

Hey, i need help trying to get this replacement S Pen connected to my base model Galaxy Tab S8, for some reason it won't connect for air actions despite putting it on the back where it goes to connect and charge

Any help would be appreciated! And i just got it today from amazon

On that S pen page, tap 3 dots at the upper right >> Reset S Pen. Then it will show you to place the Spen on the back of your tablet

Just found out, that the one i got, doesn't have Bluetooth
