My samsung device under settings>connections>data usage >allowed network for apps> then it has drop down list for each app installed on device with selection of mobile data and wifi, wifi only, mobile data only .If I select apps that I use only on wifi as wifi only those apps won't open or operate even tho I'm connected to my xfinity provided home network internet service....is there a reason it has to be allowed to mobile data network and wifi network for app to function?
I figures it out its a service provider option I turned on allowing them access to control my data ( monitor my usage ) and so I turned off option on xfinity and now I can delegate which networks for each app
