Can Text But Not Call?

I recently had some phone trouble, and had to get a new SIM card because mine was inadvertently deactivated. Well, I've gone through three SIM cards now, and I can get and send texts but whenever I try to make a phone call, I get "your phone is not registered to a network, you can only make emergency calls." I also have no mobile data access.

I have restarted, reset network settings, removed and replaced the SIM card(s), turned airplane mode on and off, checked my software update status, all of that to no avail. And yes, I do have calling on my account, and plenty of minutes, so it should be working (and I can see my remaining amount of texts decrease appropriately).

It's a Galaxy A10e. Been working fine up to this point, still works fine for everything but calls and data.

Does anyone have any idea how/why this is happening and how to fix it? I've gone several rounds with tech support at my carrier and they don't know either. Suggestions or advice, anyone? Thanks!

Any and all network connectivity issues should be addressed with your carrier directly, as there is little that Samsung can do to assist you in this matter.

Your carrier should be able to tell you why you are having issues on their network.

If you're using Google Messages for texting, which sends texts via the internet (RCS) and not your carrier and is why you're able to send/receive them.

Unfortunately,, the carrier could not figure anything out either. And no,, I'm just using regular texting, which is why it's weird that the texting is working but nothing else on the cellular network is. It's truly baffling.

So, SMS/MMS messaging uses the small, secondary frequency that your cellphone uses to handshake with your network's tower, set the clock, and other background functions. Sounds like your phone is unable to use the larger, stronger frequency for calls.

Have you run the diagnostics in this app under the Support tab?

Just my thoughts but if changes to Sim card and not fixing the issue it would seem a network issue i.e 3g phone or not receiving 4g or 5g signal for example do you see signal bars
