Can't use the lasso tool on A14

I can't use the lasso tool on my A14 but I can on my older Samsung when I click the lasso tool on my A14 it just shows shapes

Try this:

1. Click the pencil icon
2. Click the icon which looks like 4 circles.
3. Click the Lasso tool icon.
4. Ensure that Free
Form is selected.

Have you tried clearing the Gallery's cache and/or rebooting your phone?
