A Series & Other Mobile
I have a Galaxy A54 5G and a pair of Galaxy Buds FE. When I use my laptop (ROG Strix running windows 11), the volume monitor on my phone will only sometimes record the listening time. This isn't a big deal, but I'm curious as to why it's recording on my laptop too. I do have my Samsung account on there as well as Phonelink.
There is another issue, the volume monitor will almost always tell the future. In the screenshot, it's 11am but the monitor says I have 1 minute of listening time from 1pm-2pm. It also says that I have listening time from 2-3 am yesturday, which is not possible as I was asleep.

A Series & Other MobileI'd expect it to be fairly accurate, as it would be relatively easy for Samsung to map out the volume levels on their own BT earphones. Volume level set on the phone is direct with no separate volume control on the earphones to complicate things.
When it comes to any other earphones/headphones though, then it would probably not be accurate at all because they'd need to know what DB levels that particular device puts out at various volume levels, and if it's something with its own separate volume control there's no chance.
