The much cheaper phone that I had before this one could send all sorts of files with my messages, compressed archives, PDF, MP3, et cetera, et cetera. It seems that this phone, costing me a tad under $300 (I think the other was about $130), can send only image files. Is there a way to change that, or is there a specific app that I could install that would retore my messaging functionality?

P.S.: I also cannot find any link for verifying my email address on my profile page, as suggested by bot moderator, and neither can I see what email address community user reply notifications are sent to.

Message problem, use Google messages you can send larger files.

Also in Googles Messages, tap on your profile, message settings, RCS Chats toggle it on.

Samsung account, open settings, at the top of the settings page should be your Samsung account, tap on it, if you are signed in your email will be there.
