A Series & Other MobileHi guys,
A bit strange problem and not even sure how to google or fix it...
I always used to cast youtube and other videos from my Samsung S9 to Sony Android TV (2017) thru my WiFi 5 GHz home network. Recently, I bought Samsung M51 (love the battery) and this phone for some reason does not want to cast anything within 5 GHz network (though connects to it), but it is absolutely happy to do that if I switch router to 2,4 GHz mode. Switching my router to 2,4 GHz completely is not an option since it results in speed drop on all my other devices. Thus, I was trying to figure out how to force my M51 to use only 2,4 GHz, but understood that Android removed band frequency selection feature. Neither I was able to fine tune my router to use 2,4 GHz specifically with this device, while doing 5 GHz for the rest.
Apparently, I am lacking some essential technical knowledge here. Please help. Thank you.
