Phone cannot read the SDcard

My phone can't read my sd card anymore. This happened out of nowhere and nothing works to try to fix it. Can anyone help

Have you tried mounting and unmounting the card?

Yes and nothing will read it, it's a problem with the card. Sorry I didn't include that in the post. Do you know how I can recover data on a card that nothing can read

If the card can't be read then it's dead and you can't retrieve the data from it that data is lost.

Was the card that can't be read ever encrypted?
