I have the Samsung Galaxy A35.

It doesn't matter if I turn off the screen or leave it on before putting the phone in my pocket, every now & then, the phone's camera will take 1 or more screenshots.
I've checked the the camera's Settings & cannot find anything that may help.

The About Camera shows a Snap Inc. Privacy Policy (so I assume the camera is associated with Snap Chat?); but if I tap Contact Us, I am sent to Samsung Members.

I'd like to know:
1. Why the camera takes automatic screenshots
2. If there is a problem with the phone/camera
3. If there is anything I can do to stop this

If you have the button set to double click to activate the camera, accidental brushes against the button in your pocket will cause photos of your pocket to be taken. Turn that setting off. Settings/advanced settings/side button. Turn off side button actions. The camera is meant to be able to take pictures without unlocking the phone, that's why it doesn't matter if the phone is locked. Also, if you have on-body detection set to keep the phone unlocked, it's gonna do stuff in your pocket. If you have your screen shot activation set to "palm swipe", turn that off too. You can still take screen shots when you want by the icon in the quick panel.
