OK so I've had my A53 evince September. About two months after I got it it started being weird. I will be typing a message and it will freeze over. One key. And then it has a huge lag in everything I press. I've tried Deleting apps from the phone didnt help .
I've tried updating my hone and that didn't help either. I've also tried different keyboard apps those changed nothing......

Great suggestions, Sprocket99! In addition to that, @swiftydriftydoo, you can try this guide that helps with the A53 freezing: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001416/

If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician. For service in the U.S., you can take the phone to a local U.S. walk-in service location https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung or to ship the phone in for service, please reach out to us via one of the following options: 1. Facebook Messenger: http://m.me/samsungsupport 2. Twitter: https://twitter.com/messages/compose?recipient_id=18768513- 3. Private Message: https://bit.ly/3hzZfw8 If the PM link is not working for you, you can click on my name and send me a private message directly from my profile.

For service outside of the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html

You can check screen diagnostics at Android settings > battery and device care > diagnostics and also in Android developer settings are some diagnostics stuff that might help.

But, I think you should just try a factory reset and keep it to a minimum as well as don't sign in with a Google account to avoid syncing settings. If that doesn't help then there's a good chance something physically happened to the device.

Its of course also possible that its software so double check you have all updates from Play Store and Samsung Store before trying a factory reset.

There's some other possibilities possibly.
